Post #10: Our Journey So Far

It’s hard to believe it’s been almost four years since we started the journey of Hello Someday Wine. It’s so rewarding to look back and see how far we have come deciding that our “Someday” started now.

The journey can be difficult and we might have moments where our dreams may seem unattainable, but as Mae West once said “I never said it would be easy, I only said it would be worth it.”

Sometimes it takes the process of looking back to realize how far you have come. Keep reading for a recap of our journey so far.

2015

July - the week after our wedding we began to dream about owning a winery someday

2019

September – put in our first order for grapes

December – landed on “Hello Someday” as our name

2020

Januarybottled our Crossroads red blend

March - finalized our labels designed by @soarcreativeyyc

Maybottled our first Riesling

June – launched our Riesling eBook in collaboration with @cookinginmygenes

Augustin our first store in Calgary @corkfinewineyyc

October – took park in our first harvest

November – first blog feature by @styledtosparkle

Carried in 4 cities and 10 stores

 

2021

Septemberadded Pinot Gris and Syrah to our line up

November - in our first restaurant at @thenashyyc

Carried in 6 cities and 13 stores

 

2022

Aprilattending our first bottling

Julywon a silver medal for our Pinot Gris at the @winealign awards

August – officially started our property hunt

DecCalgary Herald feature by @shelleyboettcher

Carried in 10 cities, 23 stores and 2 restaurants

 

2023

Feb - participated in Winefest

April - took part in Marda Loop Indulge

March - featured in Altadore Living magazine

May - sold over 5,000 bottles of wine

Carried in 16 cities, 37 stores and 6 restaurants
